Understanding the Accelerated Payoff Concept
Along with traditional debt elimination strategies (e.g. debt avalanche and debt snowball), we provide education and implementation tools that involves using a Line of Credit as such as a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) in combination with strategic income management to potentially reduce your mortgage payoff timeline. This strategy works by making lump-sum principal payments to your mortgage using funds drawn from a HELOC, then paying down the HELOC balance using your regular income while taking advantage of daily interest calculation timing. The mathematical benefit comes from two sources: (1) the difference between daily simple interest calculation on the HELOC versus monthly interest calculation on most mortgages, and (2) the compounding effect of freed mortgage interest that accelerates each subsequent cycle.
The Accelerated Payoff concept does involve making extra principal payments to your mortgage. Borrowers could achieve substantial interest and time savings by paying monthly surplus directly to mortgage principal without using a HELOC.
The Accelerated Payoff concept could and typically yields modestly better outcomes than direct extra payments (approximately 10-15% additional benefit) when implemented with discipline and stable interest rates, but may yield worse outcomes if HELOC rates increase significantly, if strategy is not followed consistently, or if HELOC is misused for non-strategic purposes.
Important Limitations and Risks
This strategy is not suitable for everyone and carries risks that may not be present with simpler alternatives.
You must have sufficient and consistent monthly surplus, and exercise strict financial discipline to avoid using the HELOC for lifestyle expenses rather than debt reduction. HELOC interest rates are variable and can increase significantly during economic changes – if your HELOC rate rises 3% or more above your mortgage rate, the strategy’s benefits may be substantially reduced or eliminated. Banks may freeze or reduce your HELOC credit line during economic downturns, even if you are current on payments, which could disrupt your strategy mid-cycle.
This strategy may add complexity compared to simply paying extra to your mortgage principal each month. We are not licensed financial advisors, certified financial planners, or mortgage brokers. We provide educational content and implementation tools only. You should consult with a qualified, licensed financial advisor to determine whether this strategy is appropriate for your specific financial situation before implementing it. Our software and consulting services help you implement the strategy but do not guarantee any specific financial outcome – your results depend on your individual circumstances, discipline, and market conditions beyond our control.

- Provide personalized financial advice;
- Make decisions on your behalf and/or;
- Act as your fidiciuary agent.
Your results depend on your implementation, not our services. Our role is to simply provide awareness, education, and make implementation easier if you choose this approach.
Customer Satisfaction Surveys
To continually improve the customer experience, we survey our customers often. Nevertheless, it is difficult to track and ascertain those who implement and complete the training. Some customers attend the training for education purposes only – and do not purchase additional training – but may be included in satisfaction survey results.
Testimonials and reviews are individual experiences and personal opinions of those who have purchased education and training. Individual results will vary, and testimonials and/or reviews may not be typical. Results rely on individual effort, time and skill of each customer, as well as unknown conditions and other factors. The Company may track monetary results for internal use and quality assurance purposes. The company also surveys customers concerning the value of its education, training, support and overall satisfaction. Survey results are an average rating across all products and services within a 12-month period.
You may be asked to complete a satisfaction survey. By completing a survey, you confirm that the information contained is an accurate representation of your experience and that you have not received any financial incentive to give positive feedback. Further, you give the Company permission to publish your aggregate feedback and comments, on your behalf, to the Company’s website(s), materials and various online review outlets. We respect your privacy and will not publish personally identifiable information.
